Naude Dreyer, a tour guide for Pelican Point Kayaking, recently came across a young benguela dolphin washed ashore and in distress.  Naude and his friends took some measurements of the animal and tried to determine if the dolphin was even still alive.

It seemed like the dolphin was just barely alive and Naude has little hope that he would be able to save it.  After carrying the dolphin to the water it quickly took off like a bullet!

Naude said that he would keep an eye on that part of the beach to make sure that the dolphin didn’t find itself on dry land again.

What would you do in a situation like this?
